Free Pet Vaccination & Microchip Clinic in Abilene on January 22
'All Kind' Animal Initiative and the City of Abilene Animal Services are hosting a free pet (cats and dogs) vaccination and microchip clinic soon, so don't miss out.
Most of us have gone through the stress and anxiety of a missing pet, be it just a few hours, days, or even weeks and months. You feel helpless. You're scared your pet will never come home.
Well, fortunately, there's a chance to get your pet microchipped, and vaccinated, for free. That way, the next time Fido goes missing, you'll have an easier time finding him/her.
When is the free vaccination and microchip clinic?
On Saturday, January 22nd from 8 am to 12 pm, All Kind will offer FREE DAPPv vaccines for dogs and FREE HCP vaccines for cats. Abilene Animal Services will also be there offering FREE microchips. [City of Abilene]
Where will this clinic take place?
This clinic will take place at Frontier Vet Express at 2641 Post Oak Road, in Abilene. The free vaccines and microchips are all done on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure you get there early.
Don't worry, you don't need to make an appointment or register ahead of time.
In addition to the free vaccines and microchips, Frontier Vet Express will offer rabies vaccines for $20 as well as preventive medicine for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.
Vaccines are made available through Petco Love's new national vaccination initiative which is to provide 1 million pet vaccines to its existing animal welfare partners, including All Kind Animal Initiative, for family pets in need. [City of Abilene]
