Don’t Be a Loser, Check Out the Amazing Mike Ryan Video Premiere

Famed Texas Red Dirt artist Mike Ryan's latest single has only been out a few weeks and is garnering a lot of attention. Currently in the Top 20 nationally, "Loser" will have your heart pounding as you suspect an impending heartbreak.

Country music critics across the country have labeled "Loser" as a song "you need to hear". The lyrics speak about a guy who has just watched his woman walk out the door and out of his life. After watching the video for the first time I had a knot in my throat and my eyes began to water. Simply, I felt his pain.

The actors are Nicolette Pearse ("The Burden Of Truth," "Everything and The Universe," "Kim's Convenience") and Avery Merrifield ("Three-Headed Beast", "Dogwalkers). Directed by Natalie Rhea and recorded in Austin, Texas, the video - much like the song - is promising to make its way to the top of the music video charts.

If Mike Ryan sounds familiar, it's because he co-wrote Brad Paisley's hit "Last Time for Everything" (and Paisley has played guitar on Ryan's song "The Rewrite"). Mike says he fell in love with the song the minute he heard the demo. "It was a different kind of feel and a different direction than I’ve done and I wanted to take a chance on it," he said.
