Dave Puts Shay’s iPhone Speaker Made From a Toilet Paper Roll to a Product Challenge
I saw Shay's video about how to make an iPhone speaker out of a roll of toilet paper, and how you can amplify your music with a couple of scores from an X-ACTO knife. I'm a conspiracy theorist by nature, so I decided to put Shay's toilet paper speaker to the test.
I called on our coworker Rudy to submit a homemade speaker of his own, created with a used styrofoam Sonic drink cup, and I also used an autographed rubber iPhone amplifier sent to me personally by Taylor Swift (okay, that may be stretching the truth a little). Let's go to the video and see the results:
I rest my case. Shay's invention is crummy, Rudy's isn't much better, and my idea could provide adequate sound for a house party. Thank you very much.
