The St. Vincent Pallotti Ballet Folklorico is proud to present, "Mi Tierra Mexicana" under the direction of Alvaro Muñoz, at the Paramount Theatre. Abilene’s St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church Ballet Folklorico will be celebrating its 58th anniversary and is going to feature the traditional dances from the enchanted lands of Los Concheros, Nuevo León, Guerrero, Veracruz, and Jalisco. Plus special guests will include the Mariachi Alma Mexicana of San Angelo.

This evening of enchanting performances will take place under the star-lit ceiling of the Paramount Theatre. The St. Vincent Church "Mi Tierra Mexicana" project is supported by a grant from Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, 'Hearts for the Arts' and the City of Abilene.

This is a fundraiser that needs the community's support. "Mi Tierra Mexicana" at the Paramount Theatre is scheduled for two performances only, August 21st, at 7 PM, and August 22nd, at 6 PM. Tickets are only $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 10 and under. Day of show tickets will only be sold at the Paramount Theatre's box office for general admission seating only.

The St. Vincent Pallotti Ballet Folklorico "Mi Tierra Mexicana" is a story told in mainly Spanish music and dance. This beautiful presentation celebrates the history and culture of the Mexican people their faith and history.
