Listener wrote: Hi. Hope you are having a great day, and sorry for the late reply. At work we were having a debate. My co-worker started talking about tortillas, so everyone chimed in a bit, and she goes on to say that a tortilla has a frontside and a backside. And we all looked confused. So I say I always thought either side is the same and there is no such thing as a tortilla having a frontside and a backside to it. I have never heard about that ever, and I have always eaten tortillas...lol!!! What do you guys think?

HERE IS WHAT TEXANS HAD TO SAY ABOUT IT

ACCORDING TO EATER DOT COM....

According to eater dot com, a tortilla does in fact have a front and backside.

They stated....

A tortilla has a front and a back; the front has a thin skin that rolls off when picked at. The back (of a tortilla made in a tortilla machine) has ingrained marks from its time in a rotating oven. While warm, sprinkle the face of it with salt (this is optional).

I guess the big tortilla debate is settled. What does it matter? Let's just enjoy them!
