Today, Chris Colston released his brand new single “Livin Like This.” Tomorrow Colston will be on Radio Texas, LIVE! for the official radio debut.

Before we get into the new music, a big congratulations to the Colston's. Peyton and Chris welcomed a brand new baby girl less than two weeks ago, their first.

“Being a dad is the greatest feeling the world,” Colston tells Taste of Country in a recent interview.  “[Emersyn is] a perfect mixture of her mom and me. It’s an amazing feeling to know I’m responsible for raising her and teaching her everything I know. It makes me want to go out there and work hard, not just for myself but for my family.”

As far as the new song goes, Colston says he was instantly attracted to the song and lyrics.

“‘Livin’ Like This’ represents exactly who I am,” says Chris Colston. “All I have ever wanted to do in life is to play country music, hunt, fish, and be surrounded by family and friends. If you want to know who Chris Colston is outside of music, this song will tell you."

Fellow East Texans will certainly recognize several areas spots where the video was shot, as he came home to Tyler, Lake Palestine, and Chandler to film it.

We'll get all the details Saturday night on the new album, Boy Like Me, which will be released later this year. This single comes on the heels of the success of “Hate Me in My Hometown” and “Goodbye Gasoline.”
