Often times we think celebrity children get everything they could ever want from mom and dad, but when it comes to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids, there is one thing they cannot do.

“On all the kids’ computers we had our names blocked,” the 48-year-old Pitt told Germany’s Bild. “They can’t Google their mom and dad. I don’t want to make myself dependent on what other people think.”

He and Jolie, his partner of seven years, don’t spend a lot of time combing through the hundreds of millions of search results with their names either. “We don’t even notice all the noise,” he said.

Pitt seems to be out of touch with a number of things, including the societal edict against getting older. Two years away from his landmark 50th birthday, the actor says, “I love becoming an older man. Your thoughts get clearer.”

His fifth decade may also include nuptials with Jolie. He recently said that the couple’s long-time stance against making things legal may be weakening. “I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out,” he said. “It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”
