UPDATE: These Pets Need a Home Now Time Has Run Out on Them
UPDATED: 3-8-2021: Now that the weather has settled down, more and more dogs and cats are getting out and the the population at the Abilene Animal Shelter starts to fill up with homeless pets. The Director of the Abilene Services Shelter, Mike Bricker says, "in times like these that we see some beautiful pets coming in, many are the most sought after breeds too.
Bricker is also asking for donations of any and all blankets and towels too, saying "all donations are greatly appreciated. He added that "the towels and blankets gives each pet a chance to have something soft to sleep upon. Donations are accepted at the shelter at 925 South 25th during business hours.
The cats, dogs, kittens and puppies that are available for adoption. Now, available at incredible prices starting at $20 each. The photo's below are actual photos of pets that became available for adoption as of Monday 3/8/2021. Hurry as these fur babies don't have much time left and they really need us now.
Director Bricker says "all the dogs that are currently cleared for adoption and they will come flea and tick dipped, microchipped, all vaccinations and spay or neuter vouchers." If you can provide a loving home for any of these adorable fur babies, then all that is needed to adopt is to be 18 years of age or older.
However, if you can foster one of these adorable pets then drop by the shelter to get signed up to foster a pet until space becomes available at the shelter. The Animal Services Shelter is at 925 South 25th Street in Abilene and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 AM until 2 PM and 3 PM - 6 PM. The shelter closes between 2 to 3 pm daily to clean the kennels and feed the animals. The shelter is not open on Sunday.
