Stores We Wish We Had at the Mall of Abilene

When I was younger, I always loved going to the mall. Whether I'm there to see friends, eat a corn dog, drink some delicious OJ from Orange Julius, or just to play video games; the mall always seemed to be where everyone hung out.

Now days, it doesn't have that same appeal. Granted, I am older and have plenty of other places for entertainment and shopping, but malls, like ours, can make a comeback, right?

Ya know, for the first time in a very long time, I went to the Mall of Abilene recently and found myself wondering what stores it would take to get more people shopping, or hanging out, at the mall again. So, I reached out to our listeners to see what stores, the mall needs, to get them to shop there more often.

Will the mall seek out these types of businesses? Will these businesses seek out the Mall of Abilene? Who knows, but it is fun to dream, right?

Here's a list of stores, as determined by the listeners, that would bring more people back to the mall.

There were other suggestions made, like outlet stores, a dispensary, a good food court, a record store, and a toy store.

Personally, I think the current management, of the Mall of Abilene, is doing a pretty good job on keeping the aesthetics modern; we just need more shopping and food options that will entice people to go there more often.
