Several big-name department stores have begun to shut down in cities across the nation, including here locally.

I truly thought that this viral challenge had ended already but apparently, it is one that seems to not ever go away. The 'one chip challenge' has been around for a few years and is a challenge where kids are supposed to eat just one chip that is so incredibly spicy, that the outer packaging actually comes with a WARNING label.

They say everything is bigger in Texas and for those of you not originally from here, that is a fact. We like to do things bigger here. Our trucks are big, our personalities are larger than life, our food portions, can't compete and even our mums are larger than life. Wait, what is a 'mum?' I tend to forget that not everyone knows or has even seen one.

We shouldn't but many of us have done it. You get caught in a funeral procession and immediately think to yourself, 'Omg I have to wait for this long procession dang it!' It always seems to happen when you are in the biggest rush or have somewhere to be.

I am a stickler about keeping my phone charged. There are two types of people in this world, I am that person. If my phone gets below 90% I am freaking out because in my mind it is almost out of battery. So what to do at that point? Frankly find a place to charge your phone and take care of business.
