If this year is anything like the past three years, now's the time to reserve your child a spot in the most exciting and fun event of the summer that the Abilene Zoo has to offer. Just because children are out of school for the summer, does not mean the learning has to stop.

This Year The Abilene Zoo Camp Will Focus On "Learn and Discover"

The Abilene Zoo's summer camp classes will include everything from "Spots and Stripes" how animals camouflage, "Animals in Africa" which ones are they, "Secret Agent Wildlife" how to rescue and save the animals, and for the older 6th and 7th graders "Junior Keeper" teaching them how to be a zookeeper.

Kids will also get hands-on experience learning everything about scaly, furry, and feathery friends. They will also get to handle certain animals as well as feeding and care for them.

The "Abilene Summer Zoo Camp" cost is $125 per week for pre-school half-day from 9 AM until 12 PM. Kids first grade through 7th it's $210 per week but full-days from 9 AM until 3 PM.
