According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, there are currently 387 missing children right here in Texas. After digging a little deeper, there have been at least 50 children that have gone missing since January 1st, 2022.

Now, those numbers are based strictly on the active cases of missing children. They don't include the children that went missing but have since been found.

PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR THESE MISSING KIDS IN TEXAS

What do you do if your child goes missing?

Naturally, you'll want to call local law enforcement as soon as possible. When you do, make sure you give them as many identifying traits as possible, like height, weight, age, name, and a description of what they're wearing and who they were last seen with. After your call with law enforcement, call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

It's extremely difficult to memorize the faces of 50 children, but please do your best to keep an eye out for these kids. Their families, I'm sure, would truly appreciate it.
