Steel Dragon RC will be hosting an event at Coot's Piano Bar (formerly Firehouse Bar & Grill) to benefit Abilene area VFW's in need of financial assistance.

There will also be a 50/50 drawing and auction to help raise funds for area VFW's.

It's all taking place on Saturday, March 5th at Coot's Piano Bar at 2074 Butternut, and the artists performing are scheduled as follows:

  • Terri Knight - 12 pm - 12:45 pm
  • The Hill Brothers - 1 pm - 1:45 pm
  • K McKinney - 2 pm - 2:45 pm
  • Dominic Solis - 3 pm - 3:45 pm
  • Jonathan Hester - 4 pm - 4:45 pm
  • Danny Jaymes - 5 pm - 5:45 pm
  • Steve Lujan - 7 pm - 7:45 pm
  • Mexican Phil - 8 pm - 8:45 pm
  • 3 Stories High - 9 pm - 9:45 pm
  • One Last Attempt - 10 pm - 11:15 pm
  • Life Undone - 11:30 pm - 1:00 am

A lineup like that will appeal to almost every crowd. The auction and drawing will take place from 6 pm until 7 pm.

How much does it cost to attend this event?

The cover charge for this event is only $20 for the entire day which is a dang good deal. Do the math and you're spending less than 2 dollars per band all just to help out area VFW's.

Coot's Piano Bar is at 2074 Butternut and is open every Thursday through Saturday.
