According to google trend data, Texan's favorite horror movie is our hometown gem, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I agree with y'all. And I really, really love the smell of a gas chainsaw.
Other hometown favorites, according to Cabletv.com, are Colorado with Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece The Shining, and Pennsylvania with George Romero's classic Night of the Living Dead.
The overall favorites were IT, The Exorcist and Saw. All in all, every state made excellent choices. And a huge shoutout to the west coast for their foreign horror choices of Susperia and Let the Right One In.
