Soccer Star Thanks Wife and Girlfriend in Post-Game Interview Whoops

He's quicker on his feet than he is with his mouth.

Mohammad Anas, a soccer player for Free State in the South African Premier League, let out one heck of a slip this past weekend while giving an interview following his two-goal performance in his squad's victory over Cape Town. Anas somehow thanked his wife and his girlfriend.

Yeah, that must've been tough to explain when he got home.

"And I appreciate my fans, also," Anas says. "My wife and my girlfriend. I mean my wife, sorry to say. I'm so sorry. My wife!...I love you so much from my heart."

Like the goalkeeper he slipped two balls by, this was not a good save. The damage is done. Good thing Anas scored on the field because a gaffe like this means he may not score again with either of the ladies mentioned anytime soon.
