Crow, Morris Sing Together at Nashville's Party at the Polls

Sheryl Crow and Maren Morris shared the stage on Saturday (Oct. 20) in Nashville, during a music-drenched voting rally, dubbed Party at the Polls. Readers can press play above to watch the pair perform Crow's hit "Everyday Is a Winding Road."

The second single from Crow's 1996 debut album, "Everyday Is a Winding Road" was a chart hit for the singer-songwriter following its release. The song also earned a Record of the Year nomination at the 1998 Grammy Awards.

Crow was one of a number of artists on the bill for Party at the Polls, which was organized by the talent agency WME and the non-profit Endeavor Impact. Also set to appear were Amanda Shires, Jason Isbell and Lucie Silvas, among others. A morning concert was followed by a march to downtown Nashville, where registered voters could participate in early voting.

Mid-term elections will officially take place on Nov. 6, but early voting has begun in numerous states, including Tennessee. Both the governorship and a U.S. Senate seat are open in the state. The Tennessean reports that the number of voters on the first day of early voting (Oct. 17) totaled 120,893; by comparison, 143,141 people voted early in the 2016 presidential election.

Numerous country artists have been encouraging voting in mid-term elections in 2018, including Florida Georgia Line member Tyler Hubbard. On Friday (Oct. 19), Hubbard shared a photo of himself and his wife wearing "I Voted" stickers, and urged his fans to educate themselves on the races in their voting districts.
