The Super Fun Rebel Fest 2025 Returns to Potosi Live

Rebel Fest isn’t just another music festival, it’s a celebration of a young man’s dream and a community’s commitment to keep his spirit alive. Robert Ybarra, a Hawley High School graduate, was known for his cowboy hat, his love of sports, and most of all, his passion for bull riding. Tragically, Robert lost his life in 2021 after attending a rodeo in Stamford, but his legacy continues through Rebel Fest, created in partnership with his family and Texas Red Dirt artist Jacob Stelly.

Honoring the Legacy of Robert Ybarra

Jacob Stelly was Robert's favorite Texas red dirt artist. And if Jacob was playing anywhere around the big country Ybarra could be found in the audience. The event now serves as an annual fundraiser for the Robert Ybarra Scholarship Fund, supporting future college students across the Big Country.

Music, Food, and Fun for All

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, Rebel Fest returns to Potosi Live with an exciting lineup of Texas talent. Headliners include Jon Wolfe, Jacob Stelly, Della Rose, Jackson Hatch, Jeff Martin, and Chris Lackey, promising a night of unforgettable music and memories.

But the fun goes beyond the stage. Families can enjoy bounce houses, local food trucks, and a competitive cornhole tournament. The always-popular cook-off contest is back as well, featuring categories for beans, chicken, ribs, and brisket. Registration is $150 for both children’s and adult divisions, with winners taking home trophies and cash prizes.
