New RoboCop Drunk Driving PSA Doubles as a Movie Trailer
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is taking a futuristic approach to remind you to drive sober. This holiday season, RoboCop has been enlisted to spread the word about the dangers of drunk driving in a public service announcement that doubles as a movie trailer.
I have to admit, this particular PSA is memorable. It mashes up RoboCop movie clips with the "drive sober" message, and implies that the science fiction movie cop himself is on the lookout. The message ends with a plug for the new RoboCop flick, which hits theaters in February 2014.
