That scary "C" word seems to creep up at the most unexpected time leaving one with the emotional struggles of fighting for life. On top of the emotional turmoil that comes with cancer, so does extreme financial burden, hence the event "Comedians Against Cancer".
When you put together a ton of local and regional comedians, to help fight cancer, what you get is a night full of laughter along with knowing you're helping someone that needs it the most.
When is "Comedians Against Cancer"?
Friday, January 28th at the Hallows in Downtown Abilene. The show starts at 8:30 pm, so get there early enough for a great seat. Then again, if you get too good of a seat, you might just become part of the show.
Regardless, it'll be an awesome night.
The cover charge for this benefit is only $10 at the door, which is a super low price for such a rad lineup of comedians.
What comedians will be performing?
The event features Mike Shields and Michael Crawford with special guests Jason Conley, Sergio Cervantes, George Redd Speaks, Michael Aaron, Matt Willis, and Jesse Barron. The evening will be hosted by comedian John Reynolds.
If you're not able to make it to the event, scan the QR code on the flyer above to make a one-time donation.
Speaking of comedy, get your tickets now for "The Roast of Frank Pain" hosted by Michael Aaron, with live music from South of Mayhem, at Potosi Live. This event will benefit the kids at New Horizons.
