The Roulettes Have Something Special Planned for El Paso’s 2026 Fright Fest
The El Paso rockers, The Roulettes, love to bring the party every time they play in town. This year, The Roulettes have really in the festive mood, (not just because one of their songs hit the Billboard charts earlier this year) because 2026 marks the 10 year anniversary of them all being a band together.
Last year they started a new tradition around Halloween, their Fright Fest held in Downtown El Paso at San Jacinto. Last year's event was pretty fun, but for 2026, the band has decided to bring some national acts to join the fun on October 17, 2026.
Filter is set to play El Paso for the 2026 Fright Fest
As it was announced on The Roulettes' Instagram page this week, the iconic industrial metal band, Filter, will be making their return to El Paso to perform on the main stage for Fright Fest. This will be the band's 4th appearance to play El Paso; the last 3 being in 2017 at Ascarate Park, 2011 at Speaking Rock & 2010 at Club 101.
Josey Scott of Saliva will also perform at the 2026 Fright Fest
Yup, original voice & former lead singer of Saliva, has also been confirmed to join the party for the 2nd Annual Fright Fest in October. Long time KLAQ fans will know that we saw Josey with Saliva at 2 different Downtown Streetfests; in 2010 & in 2012.
In addition to Filter, Josey Scott & The Roulettes performing, The Painted Velvets will be performing at the 2026 Fright Fest as well. Other stuff to enjoy include a costume contest, food, drinks, vendors plus trick & treating for the kids. Kids 12 and under get to trick or treat for free.
