Whoa! This Texas Highway Has The Fastest Speed Limit In The Nation!

Pedal to the Metal! Whoa! Look, there are plenty of HIGHWAYS in the Lone Star State of Texas! And that's why I'm not surprised that TEXAS is home to the fastest highway in the nation. Yes, everything is BIGGER in TEXAS including the Speed Limits! And there is one stretch of highway that has the fastest speed limit of anywhere in the United States.

• STATE HIGHWAY 130 IN TEXAS HAS THE FASTEST SPEED LIMIT 

Texas State Highway 130 has a 41-mile stretch of highway located in Central Texas.

According to Google...

State Highway 130, also known as the Pickle Parkway, is a highway from Interstate 35 in San Antonio along I-410 and I-10 to east of Seguin, then north as tollway from there to I-35 north of Georgetown. SH 130 runs in a 91-mile corridor east and south of Austin.

 

The highway opened up in 2012. And, yes it is a Toll Road.
