Major Artist Announces Tour Stop In Lubbock
United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock has seen some massive artists over the years. Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll were the most recent artists to play at United Supermarkets Arena. Coming up in October Parker McCollum and Koe Wetzel will take the stage. But one major artist has just announced that he will be bringing his "In the Air Tour" to the United Supermarkets Arena, on April 26th.
World superstar Kane Brown will be stopping in Lubbock on his "In the Air Tour" to United Supermarkets Arena on April 26th. Joining him on the Lubbock stop will be Tyler Hubbard formerly of Florida Georgia Line and Parmalee.
The name of the tour comes from Kane Brown's latest single "In the Air," which Kane wrote while listening to Phil Collins, 'Feel It in the Air.' He did end up getting Phil Collin's blessing for the song.
As for the song, Kane Brown told Taste of Country:
"I got it originally when I was playing Stagecoach this year," he says of the song. "I wanted Phil Collins to come out on stage with me, I thought it would be cool."
Collins didn't end up joining the country star, but he did give his blessing, Brown explains. "I ended up just writing to his song, 'Feel It in the Air.' We were sampling that big drum fill, and the title is 'I Can Feel It,' so it's, I can feel it in the air tonight."
