There were signs however that something was amiss before Gandara's disappearance. The day before, per the Charley Project, Gandara was approaching twice an alleged blue vehicle, with the driver trying to get her into it. Gandara didn't talk to the person driving, and that was the last time she was seen in Temple.

Was Gandara Possibly Seen Anywhere Else In Texas?
The Charley Project revealed that an unnamed gas station clerk in San Antonio, Texas reported seeing Gandara at the Shamrock they worked at. In the same month of July, when Gandara disappeared, the clerk seemed to notice someone who looked like Gandara enter the place of business.
According to the report, the alleged Gandara sighting happened many times, with Gandara apparently buying items at a quick pace and being uneasy while getting them. Eventually, the clerk made an attempt to stop Gandara and alert law enforcement.
When the clerk, according to The Charley Project, offered a beverage to Gandara and tried to call police, the situation changed rapidly. The driver of the car Gandara was transported to the station in got out, took Gandara, and told the clerk that they didn't see anything.
Unfornately, the story from the clerk is alleged to have happened, and is unconfirmed. But for Gandara's family, as told by KCEN, the pain still lingers from her disappearance as said by Laura Mendoza, the sister of Angelica:
"She's still missing and we still don't know, [don't] have any answers. To this day...We don't know anything from the first day she disappeared to this day."
