Baseball Bat Bros Surprise Amarillo Youth Players
It's not a new thing when celebrities make a stop in Amarillo. We've seen them milling around Route 66, but more often they tend to pop up at The Big Texan. They either want to attempt the 72 oz. steak challenge, or just make a stop at one of the most iconic places in the city.
Will Ferrell, Yungblud, and a whole host of others have stopped in. We've seen Andre 3000 from Outkast hitting up stores along Route 66. Those are the super recognizable celebs in recent memory that have popped up. All exciting to everyone, but there are some celebs that popped into town last week that are known to a smaller group of people here in Amarillo.

Youth Baseball Players & Parents Know About Them
D-BAT is one of the premier facilities for youth baseball players to go and train here in Amarillo. I mean, we have a monthly membership, and we definitely get our money's worth out of it. However, sometimes it comes with a fun little bonus, and this was one of those times.
Youth baseball players know all about The Baseball Bat Bros. Both of my boys LOVE watching their videos. They take all the new baseball bats that come out and test them. Sometimes they end up in Major League stadiums for their content, but I'll say it's relatively entertaining to watch.
A Stop In Amarillo
Going back to D-BAT and why I mentioned them. The Baseball Bat Bros randomly dropped into the facility on Friday afternoon and caused a bit of a stir. My phone rang twice from D-BAT on Friday back-to-back, but I was busy at the time and couldn't answer.
I wish I hadn't been so busy because we would've had a chance to go and meet the guys. I told both my boys about it, and they were BUMMED. It's not the first time celebs have rolled through D-BAT. Numerous major league players have stopped in to take some hacks, so this isn't new. However, add D-BAT to your list of places celebs pop in.
