Someone in Texas won $78 million dollars back in November of 2025 playing the Texas Lottery.

That's a lot of money. Life-changing money. Not only for the person who won, but for their children and future generations if handled correctly. But as if today, no one has claimed the prize. The ticket is just out there, somewhere.

And the deadline to claim the money? It's coming up in May.

Texas Lottery Jackpot Prize Set To Expire

According to a press release from the Texas Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased in Brownsville last November. The drawing was held on November 15, 2025. To claim the $78 million dollar jackpot, the ticket holder must call the Texas Lottery to make an appointment for processing and then present the ticket in person for validation in Austin by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.

The deadline may be extended for a period of time for certain eligible military personnel. Unclaimed prizes revert back to the state for programs authorized by the Texas Legislature.
