Roller Coaster Gets Stuck Mid-Air for 30 Minutes at Six Flags Ove

While I have never been stuck on an amusement park ride. I have been in a theme park twice while rides got stuck. One instance happened at Sea World San Antonio on the Wave Breaker coaster and the ride stoppage closed the entire back part of the park.

This incident happened at Six Flags Over Texas. This is a ride that I have ridden before and it is super fun! The ride is called the Shock Wave and got stuck for about 30 minutes at Six Flags Over Texas. At this time, we have no official reason for the malfunction. The ride just started to move again with no explanation.

Check out a few other instances of rides getting stuck in the State of Texas. In October of 2024, Fiesta Texas had two instances of rides getting stuck in the same weekend. The first one is from the Iron Rattler which is also a ride that have enjoyed through the years.

The next ride is called the Sky Screamer and is one to avoid if you are afraid of heights. What makes this this an incredible view is it's location near the rock quarry.

To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
