I've been a huge fan of Jay's for many years. My buddy Frank Pain and I would often visit them on a weekly basis and eat mass quantities of grub. Then we'd go back to work feeling satisfied that we had just eaten some of the best BBQ on the planet.

It doesn't matter what you try at Jay's. Everything is excellent. But my favorite by far is their smoked brisket. It's super tender with perfect smoky flavor that bursts out with each bite. It's truly an amazing experience.

Jay's was recently featured on an episode of The Texas Bucket List. I'm honestly not surprised that Jay's was featured on the show. I'm just wondering why it took so long for Texas Bucket List to get to Abilene!

Jay's BBQ Shack Featured On The Texas Bucket List

You can find Jay's in Abilene at 602 South 11th. They start serving at 11 a.m. on Wednsday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I highly recommend you get there early and sip a cold beverage while waiting for that delicious BBQ.
