Bikers In Abilene Showing Up For Kids Who Need Someone In Their Corner
When most people see a group of bikers in Texas roll into town, they probably expect a charity ride, a motorcycle rally, or maybe just a bunch of folks enjoying the open road. But the men and women of Guardians of the Children are about something much bigger.
I had the chance to sit down with Bones from the Abilene chapter, and after talking with him, I can tell you these folks are some of the biggest-hearted people you'll ever meet.
Who Are the Guardians of the Children?
Guardians of the Children is a nonprofit organization made up of motorcycle enthusiasts who stand beside children who have experienced abuse. Their mission is simple but incredibly powerful: give kids the courage, support, and confidence to move forward while reminding them they never have to face life's toughest moments alone.

The organization works alongside families, law enforcement, and child advocacy professionals, not as vigilantes, but as advocates and a steady source of support.
Whether it's accompanying a child to court, showing up for a school event, or simply being there when a child needs someone in their corner, these volunteers donate countless hours to making sure kids know someone has their back.
Every Fundraiser Helps Local Kids
Everything the Abilene chapter does, from bake sales to community fundraisers throughout the year, helps them continue that mission right here in the Big Country.
Those dollars don't disappear into some giant national organization. They help support local children and families when they need it most, allowing the Guardians to continue providing resources, events, and encouragement to kids who deserve to feel safe and empowered.
