The Dallas Cowboys won two games in a span of four days to improve to 8-3 after beating the Commanders on Thanksgiving Day. Over 41 million who were stuffing their faces as the game unfolded were also treated to country music legend Dolly Parton's halftime performance. But it was cornerback DaRon Bland who stole the show with his NFL record 5th interception return for a touchdown.

Of course, this is a team we should have beaten and did. And I think it could have been even worse if it were not for a few overthrown balls by Dak. Still, QB1 was on a tear completing 22 passes for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns. Not bad for a slightly off day, right?

Bland now has six interceptions on the year, with five going back for touchdowns. His performance this year has many putting Bland into the Defensive Player of the Year conversation. Even rival teams are taking notice with Eagles cornerback Darius Slay saying there is no debate that Bland should be DPOY.

Bland has been more than just a solid fill-in for injured cornerback Trevon Diggs. I think it's safe to say that regardless of what happens this year, Bland and Diggs will be the starters next year. Which means Gallimore will probably be sent packing.

The Cowboys, now 8-3, will face Seattle this Thursday and try to keep pace with the red-hot Philadelphia Eagles, who are arguably the best team in football right now.
