Did The NFL Make The Right Call?
Over the years, the NFL has deemed a lot of celebrations as taunting or too over-the-top, with many players performing them anyway. Remember "getting your popcorn ready" for Terrell Owens?
I get why the NFL wants to crack down on excessive celebrations that are deemed as violent. While I don't think Cee Dee's celebration is violent, I will admit I was never a fan of it. Maybe I don't really know the meaning behind it, but I just don't understand why he wants to wipe his nose in front of millions of people. I digress.
Even though I'm not a fan of it, I still believe the players should be able to express themselves however they like as long as it doesn't look like the player is trying to hurt someone or threaten bodily harm.
Do you think the NFL made the right call?
