Abilene Halloween Car Show Drives Hope in Fight Against Alzheimer’s
Abilene is stepping up in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, bringing our Big Country community together through special events, awareness, and a whole lot of heart.
Brittany from Visiting Angels stopped by the studio recently, and we actually managed to discuss some important community events between laughs and a completely unexpected detour into “earth science.” I’m still not convinced either one of us should be teaching that class, but we had fun.

More importantly, Brittany shared how Visiting Angels is helping Abilene fight Alzheimer’s while supporting affected families and caregivers.
Halloween, Classic Cars and a Great Cause
Visiting Angels will keep the fundraising rolling with its 5th Annual Spooktacular Car Show and Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 24.
The Halloween celebration runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 2550 Barrow Street in the Drug Emporium parking lot. Expect cool cars, decorated trunks, costumes, candy, and plenty of family-friendly fun, all benefiting the fight against Alzheimer’s.
