Celebrate Fall and Halloween by Camping Out With Local Texas Church
Make this fall season one to remember by camping out at the peaceful Clyde Lake. Go camping on Saturday, October 7, with the fellowship of Fountaingate Church.
Simply reserve your spot at Clyde Lake and be part of the first-ever "Camp O Ween". Bring your creative brain with you as there will be a host of fun and entertaining events. My friend and youth leader Ethan Baird with the Fountaingate Church commented on how Halloween doesn't have to be creepy or scary.
Furthermore, I shared with Ethan the fact that I love camping. I'm the only one in my family who is absolutely crazy about camping. Some time ago I learned that my wife and daughters dislike camping because they can't sleep when it's hot. So I invented my air conditioner for a tent, and you don't need electricity. Just see the video below.
What I found really cool about Camp O Ween is that there will be a pumpkin carving contest, a campsite decorating contest, a kids' costume contest, and both single and group costume contests, along with fun trail rides for the entire family and some live entertainment.
On Sunday the Fountaingate fellowship will cook a wonderful breakfast and hold church service by the lake. Now if that doesn't sound like a fun family weekend in the fall, I don't know what does. I hope to see you there at Camp O Ween.
