Hilary Duff Loses ‘Bonnie And Clyde’ Role Due to Pregnancy
Apparently, Hilary Duff won’t be playing Bonnie Parker in “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”
According to TMZ, she was dropped from the starring role last week, when she announced that she was pregnant with her first child with husband Mike Comrie.
Shooting on the film is set to begin this fall, and the producers decided they couldn’t push back the schedule to accommodate Duff’s pregnancy. TMZ described the split as ‘amicable.’
The move will clearly please Faye Dunaway, who played Bonnie Parker in the 1967 classic ‘Bonnie and Clyde.’ When told Duff would be reprising her role in the remake, Dunaway cattily quipped “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
