Folks in Hawley Texas are still cleaning up from the tornado that touched down on Thursday, May 2nd during a round of dangerous thunderstorms rolling across the state. Several families experienced severe damage to their property, some losing everything.

Several professional storm chasers captured the tornado, including Mike Olbinski who posted an incredible picture of the large cone on X (formerly Twitter).

A benefit has been set up to help these families that will feature live music from Hawley, Texas native Della Rose, dinner, an auction, and more.
