Happy-Go-Lucky Snake in the Sand Is Having the Time of His Life
Kids aren't the only ones who get a kick out of playing in the sandbox.
Meet Waffle, a Kenyan sand boa that buried its head and body into a small sandbox his owner got for him. After taking the plunge, Waffle's head emerges out of the sand. He looks thrilled, a kind of reptilian wide-eyed innocence brought to life.
It's not just the awesomely-named Waffle that's delighted, either. To date, the clip has been viewed more than seven million times, which just goes to prove while snakes may scare quite a few of us, they're also more than adept at cheering a slew of us up.
