I recently told you about the Country Cares Concert organized and hosted by Dierks Bentley. The concert was held Monday night, July 22nd and was a benefit for the families of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots that lost their lives. These are the firefighters from Prescott, Arizona who fought an out-of-control 2,000 acre fire.

Bentley along with The Band Perry, David Nail and Randy Houser raised almost $500,000 dollars for the families. Bentley honored the firefighters with a photo tribute during his performance of a brand new song called 'Here on Earth'. He also was accompanied by the Rural Metro Pipe and Drum Corp on a special version of 'Home'.

All money raised from the event will go to the United Phoenix Firefighters Charities. They will then distribute the funds to the 19 families of the fallen firefighters.
