I was recently asked how my life has changed since becoming a father. Other than being considerably older, heavier, tired and broke all the time, my life is really not all that different. Wait, there are a few things that are very different.

I want to make it clear that there is nothing in the world that I love more than my job as a dad. Do I miss some things, like sitting wherever the heck I want and watching sports on TV all day while spending commercial time emptying my beer shelf? Of course, but now I prefer to look at these fond memories as a retirement plan.
