Clue the Fun and Hilarious Play is Coming to the ACT Playhouse

The Abilene Community Theater is proud to present "CLUE" directed by Amanda Keith. The play by the Abilene Community Theater will be played out on Friday, September 17th, Saturday, September 18th, and Sunday, September 19th at the ACT Playhouse Main Stage at 809 Barrow Street with evening performances at 7:30 PM.

This is a hilarious and fun 'whodunnit' murder mystery that's based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. The way this play came about is that one of ACT's volunteers, Amanda Keith aka the Director, who by the way is a huge fan (to say the least) of the movie and play "Clue."

One day Amanda was given a gift by her son, that gift was the actual "Clue" 'screenplay script'. She was convinced that she had to not only bring the play to life but she was willing to direct the play as well. If you're ready to laugh and have fun while solving this murder then get your tickets now.

Clue, the on-stage adaptation is from the Paramount Pictures film inspired by the board game from Hasbro, Inc. "Clue" takes place on a dark, stormy night, and you've been invited to a very strange kind of dinner party. Every dinner guest answers to an alias. The butler is handing out different weapons, and the "dinner's host" is dead. So whodunnit? Watch as the oddball guests, known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up.
