Brad Paisley is known as one of country music's best guitarists, and now he has his own guitar model. The country star has teamed up with guitar company Fender to create his own signature Telecaster.

Part of the Fender Artist Signature series, the Brad Paisley Road Worn Telecaster features a "silver sparkle road worn lacquer finish and player-centric features selected by Paisley himself," a press release reports; features include a paulownia center core, “V” neck shape and medium jumbo frets to create a comfortable-to-play and great-sounding instrument. The guitar also (fittingly) features a paisley pickguard and will retail for $1,199.99; it will be officially revealed a little later this summer, at Summer NAMM, which is held in Music City.

“The best thing about having a Fender Signature Telecaster is the unwavering quality associated with the brand’s legacy and confidence that I’m introducing a great guitar at an incredible price point,” says Paisley in the press release. “I set out to create a guitar that was accessible for the vast majority of young people out there ..."

Paisley hopes that by creating a guitar that is both eye-catching and of great quality, he will inspire a younger generation to try playing.

"I want to inspire young guitar players," Paisley says. "The idea of starting a kid down a path, like the path my grandfather showed me, which was learning to play an instrument, will greatly enhance your life."

Paisley has been busy following the release of his latest studio album, Love and War, in April. He is currently out on the road for his Weekend Warrior World Tour; he also recently contributed two songs to the Cars 3 soundtrack. In November, Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to co-host the 2017 CMA Awards, for the 10th consecutive year.
