‘Better Watch Out’ Red-Band Trailer: Two Boys Will Do Anything to Impress Their Hot Babysitter

Ah, the holidays. Cookies, sparkly lights, Christmas trees, your parents leaving you at home with a hot babysitter you decide to impress by whacking her ex boyfriend over the head with a baseball bat… You know, the usual wholesome stuff you get up to during the Christmas season, at least according to the Better Watch Out Red-Band trailer.

Better Watch Out starts off innocently enough: two parents hire a twentysomething gal to oversee their two young sons while they go off carousing with their friends, and the boys try everything to impress her until what appears to be a home invasion foils their plans. Or does it? Honestly, if you’ve read this far without watching the trailer above, I might even suggest that you skip it. Part of the charm of this movie seems to be found in watching the pot twists — which are in full view in the trailer — unfold organically.

Here’s the synopsis:

This holiday season, you may be home, but you’re not alone... In this fresh and gleefully twisted spin on home-invasion horror, babysitter Ashley (Olivia DeJonge) must defend her young charges (Levi Miller, Ed Oxenbould ) when intruders break into the house one snowy night – or so she thinks.

Better Watch Out hits theaters and VOD October 6.
