Amy’s Kitchen Recalls Products Containing Spinach
Frozen food maker Amy's Kitchen is recalling its products that contain spinach, due to a possible listeria contamination.
Some of the recalled products include frozen lasagna, burritos, and pizza. The full recall list is available on the FDA's website.
No illnesses have been reported thus far, but recalled products should be thrown away or returned to the store where they were purchased for exchange or a refund.
Consumers may also call Amy’s at (707) 781-7535 [Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Pacific)].
Listeria can be deadly for kids and the elderly, or anyone with a weakened immune system. In pregnant women, it can cause miscarriage or stillbirth.
The recalled products were distributed to stores nationwide in the United States and in Canada.
