2019 CMA Awards: 10 Things You Didn’t See on TV
The 2019 CMA Awards' broadcast on Wednesday night (Nov. 13) on ABC stuffed so many memorable moments and jaw-dropping performances into three hours. Yet, as is often the case, photographers on site captured plenty memories that didn't make the show.
This year, those behind-the-scenes scoops included unexpected celebrity interactions, adorable kids on the red carpet and two historic wins awarded off-camera: Jenee Fleenor became the first woman to win Musician of the Year, and the bizarre trio of Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus and Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor shared the Musical Event of the Year trophy, for "Old Town Road" (the song samples a NIN song, making Reznor a de factor collaborator).
