Chet Atkins

The latest round of country music artists to be honored with stars on Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame includes contemporary stars Lady Antebellum, Black and Mac McAnally, as well as legends Chet Atkins and DeFord Bailey.

While rock legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Slash typically dominate the "best guitarist ever" conversations, country music is no slouch when it comes to producing legendary shredders.
