Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline recently celebrated their younger son Tate's eighth birthday on Aug. 11, and—befitting a summer party—a giant D.I.Y. slip-n-slide appeared to be the main attraction at the festivities.

While this undoubtedly appealed to the elementary-school set present, it seems that the adults enjoyed it as well! Both Luke and Caroline shared respective videos of their tandem slide—dragged along on a shark-shaped raft by a tractor—with Caroline's giving a particularly funny vantage view of their resulting crash at the bottom.

Mom and Dad appeared unscathed, if a little shook up from the ride, with a laughing Luke asking his wife if she's OK.

She was, but just one thing: "That dorsal fin went into places it never should go. Ever!" Caroline joked in the caption. We will take her word on that.

It's not much of a surprise the couple were game to try out the slide. The Bryans have a well-documented history of being a fun-loving pair that adores the sport of embarrassing their kids (older son Bo is 10). Their infamous dance to New Kids on the Block while on vacation earlier this year was enough to make any child dread going to school the next day!

Bryan is enjoying a busy summer, as he's out on the road through October for his What Makes You Country tour. He also recently opened up his brand-new bar/restaurant/venue, Luke's 32 Bridge in downtown Nashville, and has another upcoming season of filming American Idol inked prominently on his schedule.
