America’s Best Restaurant Now Has Zero Texas Locations
Texas has arguably the best food on the planet with a multi-cultural melting pot of incredible dishes that make up our famous Tex-Mex cuisine. When you add the word fusion to Tex-Mex, then you end up with an infinite menu of meals that never cease to make all your wildest culinary dreams come true.

Honestly, when you think about trying to feed 30 million plus residents it really is almost unbelievable that the most popular fast food restaurant (which is a taco joint by the way) no longer has any locations in the Lone Star State. The news of a taco restaurant going out of business in Texas is almost as big of news as the annual champion Chick-fil-A being dethroned by a chain that did not even make the top ten in last year's list.
I do imagine that with our continued increase in population and the number one restaurant being owned by Jack in the Box, which is all over the place in Texas, we will hopefully see its return sooner than later.

That's right, out of nowhere has come Del Taco in a USA Today survey that also saw the crown jewel of Chick-fil-A drop to third. One of the last remaining Del Tacos of Texas was next door to the Ikea in Round Rock, and is now a Popeye's, which coincidentally made the list at number 8.
