
Delta Air Lines Leaving One Texas Airport Forever In November
Every day, there are multiple flights that go in and out of Texas. Some flights are taking Texans home, while others are leaving just for a short while. However, all these flights needs air lines to do them, and sometimes, airlines leave certain airports in Texas.
What Could Cause An Airline To Leave A Texas Airport?
There are a lot of reasons that an airline would leave an airport altogether. One the biggest though is of course that just not many people are flying to that place in question. It's not fun when a destination out of Texas is cancelled, let alone an entire airline leaving an airport.

It does happen, as certain airlines are no longer in certain Texas airports. While it does stink when the situation occurs, there's a chance another airline will take over. For Delta Air Lines, they're leaving one specific airport in the Lone Star State.
Why Is Delta Air Lines Leaving An Airport In Texas?
As reported by The Street. Delta Air Lines will no longer fly out of Midland International Air and Space Port. The big reason for the airline leaving the area is simple, those flying out of the airport was lower than what the company wanted.
In a comment to The Street, City Council’s liaison to the Airports Department, Councilwoman Robin Poole said:
“While I am disappointed to learn that Delta Airlines will no longer be servicing our airport, it does not diminish our commitment to ensuring Midland International Air & Space Port continues to thrive and meet the needs of our residents and those traveling through the Permian Basin."
