What Should A Texan's AC Be Set To During The Summer Months?

According to the US Department Of Energy, and revealed by Trane, there is a specific temperature that is good for the summer months in the Lone Star State. But, it's probably not the one that many would enjoy to leave it one.

What is it you ask? Well, it's none other than 78 degrees. Yes that might be a bit warm to some, but there are other ways to stay cool in summer. As revealed by USA Today, these are just a few:

- Adding window curtains;
- Limiting heat-producing appliances,
- Checking weather stripping on doors and windows;
- Installing ceiling fans to help circulate air, though don’t use this as a sole cooling device. FEMA warns this can give a false sense of comfort with airflow that doesn’t reduce body temperature or prevent heat-related illness.

Just remember, we'll make it through another summer Texas!
