Not Good, Wichita Falls Named The Worst Town To Live in Texas
New ranking list up on YouTube today and sadly it's a list Wichita Falls does NOT want to be on.
That good old YouTube algorithm hit me right in the face this morning. Up on my recommended videos page was the following video.
Uploaded just a few hours ago, YouTube knew I was going to click on this one because as you can in that description. Wichita Falls is number one. Here are the official rankings for the worst towns in Texas, according to Town Wise.

- #9 Beaumont (Jefferson County)
- #8 Galveston
- #7 Deer Park (Harris County)

'Research' On This Hard Hitting Topic
Before the video begins we get a warning like I am watching an episode of Jackass on MTV back in the day. Basically it goes onto say to do your own research before moving to any of these Texas towns. He's not giving you professional advice he says. So what does he actually say about Wichita Falls?
What Makes Wichita Falls So Bad?
The page Town Wise claims Wichita Falls is recycling their drinking water as a reason not to move here. For those new to Wichita Falls, 2011 was ROUGH. We were in what was considered catastrophic drought conditions towards 2015. At our worst, lake levels were at 19%. Good news though rain FINALLY came in (honestly too much rain, parts of Wichita Falls flooded) and now we're back to normal. Lake levels as of yesterday at 89.5%.

So uhhhh....that's it. No really, the reason Wichita Falls is the worst town in Texas is because of the 2011-2015 drought. I am not even making this up. That is all this video says about us. Check it out for yourself below.
