(KNUE-FM) It’s crazy to think that it’s almost time for the holidays here in Texas, it’s going to be Thanksgiving, then Christmas before we know it. While things might be a little tight this year, it really is the most wonderful time of the year.

There is nothing better than driving around the Lone Star State and seeing all the houses lit up with lights, and decorations and inflatables out on the lawn. It’s always fun as we get closer to the holidays to go on adventures to see all the Christmas lights and decorations. As we know, everything is bigger in Texas—including some of the Christmas displays!

Why Texans Love Going Big for Christmas

It’s mind-blowing to see some of the time and effort that goes into the displays around Texas but celebrating the season isn’t only limited to the Lone Star State. It’s also fun to see how other states truly embrace the season and put on massive displays.

Even if you can’t visit all of these places, you might want to grab a cup of hot cocoa and pull up a YouTube video to see what those displays look like in person.
