I may be a little bit biased, but I believe that Texas has some of the finest cuisine on the planet. Where I live in Abilene, we have some great restaurants, but sometimes a short drive in any direction will entice your belly with some of the best places mom and pop places in Texas to get your grub on.

The Big Country comprises 12 different counties including where Abilene sits (Taylor County). Texas is huge. So, twelve counties is a lot of ground to cover, and that's a lot of food possibilities to chow down on.
